I have a thing for old City guides.
Best scoop was a guide of Southern Italy with an beautiful old museum ticket in it.
And I always bring my old east/west guide to Berlin - the old map and current city is an on the spot mashup and cool experience.

New guides tend to be outdated - for the old guides its a given
But even with the mixture of the old guides and the new ones, recommending shopping and cool stuff -
I still miss the intimacy of the places, the secrets, the smells, the details....extening the experience beyond hotspots and trivia.

I want to make guides - First stops are Antwerp and Paris
